Pousada Solarium de Gostoso

We had a wonderful time, and I’d definitely return. The beds were comfortable, the staff kind and attentive, the location excellent, and breakfast was lovely. We were there to celebrate my mother's birthday, and they surprised us in the room. It’s worth asking about that extra service. The inn also has afternoon coffee, though our outings meant we didn't get a chance to try it. Paulinho, the buggy driver recommended by the inn, made for a fun, wonderful experience. I'd also recommend Villa Mar on Rua Cavalo Marinho, an easy walk away. The regional food had excellent seasoning and reasonable prices. My only complaint was not having a good place to hang wet clothes. The bathroom drying rack isn't great, since it gets the whole bathroom wet and uncomfortable. Everything else was great.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the cooks were so friendly, making a delicious breakfast with care. The inn itself is beautiful, clean, and well organized. We highly recommend it.

The pool was excellent, and the whole inn was spotless and well organized. The staff were especially polite and cordial, particularly the women at reception and breakfast. We loved all of it.

We'd absolutely recommend the inn. Since we visited in low season, both the place and the town were very quiet. The location was convenient, the rooms were spacious and very clean, and the common areas and pools were clean and organized too. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of choices, and the staff were warm and welcoming. A 10! A couple of things didn't bother me, but might matter to someone else: the rooms aren't very soundproof. There was a family with children upstairs, and it got quite noisy early in the morning. Also, the room doesn't get fully dark because light comes through gaps in the window and door.
