Our room was spacious and clean, and the shower was hot. We stayed in December 2013. Getting there from Parada Inglesa metro stop was easy, and the staff were helpful when we sorted out a payment mix-up: we’d paid a deposit but were charged the full amount at the hostel. There were lots of ageing computers downstairs, but one was available for guests to use. Breakfast was basic but tasty. The coffee was good, as you’d expect in Brazil. There was also a big TV and DVDs, and the Wi-Fi worked well.
