I've stayed in 52 countries, from couch surfing and hostels to top luxury resorts. This was my sixth W Hotel, and my favorite stay anywhere so far. My closest second was a Johannesburg Marriott. The hotel and its employees are both beautiful, and everyone felt like a close friend I just hadn't met yet. At L40, Camylla kept me laughing and made great suggestions from the menu and for local things to see and try. She was right about all of them. Later I listened to live music at BAIO and met Yasmin. We only talked briefly, but the next day she surprised me with a framed photo from my Brazil adventure, a very sweet card, and a detailed map of things to see in Maceio. I've cried at least 10 times over how thoughtful that was, and probably will again. I also met Leandro at breakfast. I don't know if those glowing smiles and joyful energy are part of the job or just a happy accident, but it never felt like anyone was working. Leandro and I compared the Ws we'd visited and agreed the breakfast was top notch. The breakfast spread was hands down the best I've seen at W or European luxury resorts. I also had a pedicure at the Spa, and Erika and Edi were amazing, fun, and attentive. I'll need to book longer treatments next time. I can't wait to return soon with my husband so he can enjoy the hotel and staff too. I stayed just two nights and won't make that mistake again. I hope I see you all soon, and that promotions and raises are in your future, because you deserve the brightest and most wonderful things in life. My only regret is not getting photos with everyone. Thank you so much for everything.

The rooms were spotless and had all the little additions that made them feel like home. I also liked the design in the rooms, gym, and restaurants, both functional and elevated. The staff were extremely attentive, kind, and fun. They went above and beyond to make my birthday special, then helped me feel comfortable again on a long travel day home. Special shoutout to Alina, who made the stay exceptional. One of my best stays in the past few years!

The gym was amazing, and the suite was spectacular. With a button by the bed, the automatic curtains opened up to Sao Paulo. Breakfast every morning was outstanding too. The facilities were immaculate, the service went above and beyond, and the whole guest experience was fabulous. Alina at the front desk deserves a special shoutout for going out of her way to make sure we had a great stay. Truly one of the best hotel experiences I've had.

I had a broken foot, and the staff took fantastic care of me. Aline, Jennifer, Lucas, and everyone at breakfast, obrigado. The rooms are new, spacious, and super comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, with great views. It felt like a home away from home and was my best stay in years, even with over 100 nights a year as an Ambassador. Obrigado 🙏

The rooftop was fully booked for a private event one evening, and hotel guests weren't allowed up. That was disappointing, especially since the rooftop pool is such a major feature. I also felt it was unfair to the team that staff here don't seem to get the same benefits or support as W employees in other countries, despite guests paying the same rates as at W hotels worldwide. You can notice that in the experience. The pool itself is the highlight, with excellent views and a great atmosphere. My room was clean and met W brand expectations. Staff were friendly, and most spoke good English, so communication was easy. Special thanks to Daniel Lau, Alice, Aline, and Brasília at breakfast for being attentive, professional, and welcoming. One inconsistency with other W hotels is that amenities aren't placed in the room by default and have to be requested. It was a good stay, with a standout rooftop pool, but some things felt different from other W properties worldwide.
