Romora Bay Resort & Marina

We came in for lunch and sat outside, where the view was beautiful. The food and service were good.

The rooms seem freshly updated with new furniture, and they were very comfortable. I liked the pool, but nobody was clearing away trash. I suggested adding a bin nearby and said we’d gladly use it, but staff didn’t seem interested. Empty cups, food containers, and water bottles were left around. There’s no TV in the rooms, either. The restaurant food is good, but service is mostly pretty bad, as other reviews seem to say. Restaurants elsewhere in town are much more tuned in to giving guests a good experience. We did pay about $150-200 less per night than some other nice resorts on Harbor Island, though. A last-minute update: jackhammer demolition has started and ruined the rest of our stay. It will likely go on for at least several days. If you want to relax by the pool, stay somewhere else, and check with them before booking.

The Harbour view and sunset made this a great spot for dinner. We also really enjoyed the food: the ribs were excellent, with meat that came right off the bone, and the meat lovers pizza was good without being greasy. A lovely dining experience.

The sunset view was amazing, and the service was exceptional. We had the dynamite shrimp and ribs that fell right off the bone. Such a great dinner, highly recommend.
