The staff were very courteous and showed lovely Bhutanese hospitality. We had a great two-night stay and would recommend this place to anyone looking for peace and nature views. The mountain range can be seen from different room categories, so book a valley and mountain view room. The Paro city views are amazing, and the Indian food is good too. Just keep in mind it's 5-10 minutes from Paro city, so you can't walk there in the evening and may need a cab. There is no lift, and you'll have to manage some steps to reach your room.

From our hilltop bungalow, we could watch planes land and take off, which my son loved. It's about 10 mts from town, and the food and service were good. The staff weren't always at reception, though, which could be a challenge. Our cottage-style room was old-fashioned but spacious, with its own balcony, a good bed, a large bath with a tub, functional WiFi, and many TV channels, which isn't common in Bhutan. A heater was useful in the chill. The roof of the cottage in front partly blocked our bungalow's view, which was a bit annoying. Still, we had a good two-night stay.

The balcony and bath both look out over lovely Paro valley. But there's no decent coffee, the dogs bark all night and disturb your sleep, and the food choices and service attitude are poor. It seems to attract tour groups. Barely three-star.

The view over Paro town, with paddy fields and mountains around it, was breathtaking and made the stay memorable. The staff were friendly and helpful. When I mentioned that most of the window locks weren't working, they patiently let us check several rooms until we found one with a working lock. I appreciated their willingness to help, especially with the door notice telling guests to stay alert. Still, the hotel should maintain basic safety features like window locks better. Fixing that would make the overall experience stronger.

The hotel sits on a hill with a commanding view of the rice fields and Paro Fort. Service is excellent, though the food is mostly continental, with very few local dishes. The rooms felt a little too cozy, and bring your own bath foam because none is provided. The shower is outside the tub, so using it can leave the whole bathroom wet and messy.
