The staff were helpful and polite, and the food was delicious. The property is beautiful and the views are mesmerising. It’s a nice place to stay, though a little away from town, still close enough to walk.

During my guests’ stay, the linens provided were unhygienic. They felt uncomfortable because of this lack of care, and cleanliness should be a basic expectation for any guest. Staff were impolite, and the service overall was unsatisfactory.

The shower drainage wasn’t great. On hair-washing days, especially with long hair, water built up a little, though it wasn’t a major issue and even five-star hotels can have this problem sometimes. I booked this hotel/resort through a tour package, and for a three-star place it exceeded what I expected. The room was surprisingly spacious and had very powerful air conditioning. The toilet was clean and the hot water reliable. Toiletries were very limited, so I’d strongly suggest bringing your own. There was a small TV, but it wasn’t a smart TV, so I didn’t use it. Wi-Fi worked, but was unstable, and I had to be patient and remind myself I was in the countryside at a three-star property. I didn’t request room service or housekeeping, but I understand they’re available. The food included in the tour was quite acceptable and tasty to me, though your experience may vary.

The view was good, but the room was below average and didn’t feel worth the money. Wi-Fi was a major problem: reception was poor in the restaurant and unreliable in the rooms. The room cleaning was not up to expectations, and it looked as if the floor had never been mopped. The hot and cold shower knobs and shower system also had issues. The hotel is by the river, but the view was good only from a room on the higher side.
