The food in the restaurant was nice, the service fantastic, and I loved the welcome tea. Our room was quiet and comfortable with a nice warm shower, and downtown was within walking distance. But there was mold around the bathroom sink, which leaked onto the floor. We hung up towels, but they replaced them anyway and left us with only one bath towel. The Wi-Fi was unreliable, the TV didn't work, and one outlet on the power strip was fried. Then a staff member came into our room without knocking around 8:30 am. It was an unusual stay.

We had a comfortable, stress-free stay, and the balcony and window views were amazing. The cozy, quiet interiors were well-maintained, and the staff's courteous and polite behavior made the experience memorable. Room service was quick, and requests and bookings were handled smoothly and efficiently. The hotel is a little away from the market. The food was good, though I expected it to be better, 3/5. Ambience: 5/5. Staff: 5/5. Overall impression: 4/5.

The peaceful setting and beautiful views around Hotel Damisa were what stood out most to me. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-kept, with interiors that mix modern comfort and traditional Bhutanese charm. Staff were very polite, attentive, and ready to help, and the food was fresh, flavorful, and nicely served. The calm, welcoming atmosphere made the stay comfortable from the start. Cleanliness and service both felt thoughtfully managed. I really enjoyed my time there, and it seems like a lovely place to stay while exploring Bhutan.

The complimentary breakfast was good, with plenty of options such as idly, poha, uppma, bread, and omelette. Dinner was mostly vegetarian, with just one non-veg option. The staff were polite and prompt. Rooms were large and comfortable, with separate storage spaces, tables, and chairs. Toiletries and an electric kettle were provided.

Damisa is close to the market and is a great hotel to stay in. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, which made them a pleasure to stay in. The food, hospitality, and atmosphere were wonderful, and the staff were all friendly and polite.
