Singing Sands Inn

The quiet made this such a relaxing stay. We rented a golf cart to head into town, which was a lot of fun, and it was lovely to step outside onto the deck at night and see the stars, even though part of the deck was being repaired. We were upgraded to the standalone seahorse cabana right on the beach, which felt magical. The place was comfortable, the service warm and friendly, and the restaurant served good food right by the water, with flowers on the table. Highly recommend Azure Del Mar.

Restaurant review only. The setting was nice, but the food and service let it down. Our meals took a very long time, we never got our drinks, and the food wasn't prepared as requested. My burger was badly overcooked, even though they asked how I wanted it, and the fries arrived cold. Two other dishes weren't very good either. I wouldn't recommend it.

Right on the beach, the cabanas have porches and authentic thatch palm roofs. The restaurant serves great meals, and the service is excellent.

We were really sad to leave after six nights. Everyone on staff was friendly and did so much to make our stay special. We got into Belize City very late and still had a long drive to Placencia, but Maria at reception waited past her work hours for us and arranged for the kitchen to have food ready when we arrived. Our family suite worked perfectly, and everything was always clean. The resort felt safe enough that we were comfortable letting the kids wander around on their own, even at night. It sits right on the beach, with beautiful views, and we had dinner and drinks there every night. My boyfriend and I also had a couples massage on the dock. It was windy, but the staff made it happen, and listening to the waves with the breeze around us made it the best massage I've had. I can't say enough good things about this place.
