We could swim, fish, paddleboard, or take a canoe straight from the private beach, and the Caribbean was right outside our door. The cabanas were cool, roomy, clean, and comfortable, with a kitchen that made breakfast and lunch easy to handle ourselves. We enjoyed wonderful dinners out in Placentia, too. Ti was an amazing host and guide, always making sure our family and the other guests were cared for. He even made fresh coconut water, and Ty turned a lovely stay into a real adventure.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, always checking that we had what we needed. Our beach cabana was comfortable and had a kitchen stocked with everything for our stay. Being right on the beach made this a great place to stay while visiting Placencia.

I have to admit the cabanas were nice, but I wouldn't stay here. We woke up in the middle of the night to find someone in our room. The owner's guy came into our cabana with a key, so it wasn't a break-in. My wallet, which had almost $400 US in it, was taken. I did get my wallet and other belongings back. The strange part was that he knew exactly which switch turned off the light on his way out. My husband and I always fumbled around because we couldn't tell the switches apart. I felt robbed while we slept, and I won't return to this place or to Placencia. I WOULD NOT STAY HERE...OWNER IS A CROOK!!!!!

So peaceful and quiet, but still close to town and all the conveniences you could want. Man, this place was the best. The owner jacob is a really interesting, intelligent guy. Definitely worth a visit if you're coming to placencia.
