Roger made our stay in curacao so pleasant, and we hope to come back soon. The room was comfortable, the AC worked well, and having hotel bathrobes was a handy extra. Breakfast was included, and it was a nice surprise to find coffee and water available all day. The location is great for exploring downtown Willemstad, with the floating market just a 5-10 minute walk away. Highly recommend this hotel.

Petra and her staff made me feel more like a visiting dignitary than a tourist. Petra picked me up at the airport, welcomed me, and showed me around on the way to the hotel. The place was beautiful and charming, and my room was comfortable, especially the bed. The contemporary bathroom had full-sized shampoos and plenty of hot water; the room also had great AC and a ceiling fan. Breakfast was excellent and changed a little each day. I loved the common areas too, with free coffee and tea always on the patio and music that felt just right, like a little coffee shop inside the hotel. It’s just outside the center, but close enough that I could walk everywhere I wanted. A Perfect Stay!

We needed somewhere for one night in Curaçao, and this worked out perfectly. Since transportation can be tough to get, the shuttle from the airport and to our other weekly stay was a really nice extra. The hotel is within walking distance of the ocean and some nice restaurants. They also took care of our dinner reservation at Kome, a great local restaurant, and it was awesome. The rooms were comfortable, the decor was nice, and we enjoyed the light breakfast and coffee. Follow-up emails and service were very attentive to what we needed. Recommended for couples!

The 24-hour coffee bar was a great help through our long days exploring Curacao. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful the whole time, and you can tell Villa Amalie was put together with a lot of thought and care. It’s perfectly placed for seeing most of Willemstad on foot. We had a great time and will stay there again on our next visit to Curacao.
