The menu is creative, the ingredients are locally sourced, and everything we tried was perfectly cooked and beyond delicious. The service was excellent too. This review is for the restaurant downstairs, not the pub. It's fantastic, as good as or better than the best restaurants I've eaten at anywhere in the world. Don't miss it if you're in Alert Bay.

The portions were huge and the food was so tasty, which made the slightly high price feel fair for what you get. We had a lovely evening at the Orca Inn Pub, with a friendly welcome, a candle on the table, and great, very attentive service. Thank you!

I haven't had the pleasure of staying there, but the owners are lovely and the food is spectacular. They've got an amazing chef making dishes like duck confit, caprese salad, Thai wraps, and more. I can't recommend the restaurant highly enough. We're lucky to have them, and it's a must eat on the island! :)

We were really grateful to find Orca Inn and Pub fully operating on Jan 1st, and the team took care of our empty stomachs on the stat. They were out of the chow mien, unfortunately, but the deep fried platter tasted good. I wonder if Pemba makes her spring rolls herself, because they taste so much better than the frozen ones at the supermarket. The meal was $30, two beers were $14, and a pot of tea was $4. My partner and I appreciate you working on the holiday and looking after travellers.
