I’ll be back in the summer. This had a warm, family feel and was excellent value. The owners were lovely, friendly, and helpful, with great local knowledge. They gave me useful advice on hiking up Sanson Peak and where to cross-country ski, and reassured me when a heavy overnight snowfall made me nervous about hiking. They even cleared snow from my car while doing the walks and parking pad. The food was incredibly fresh, with gourmet flavors, locally fresh-brewed coffee, and lovely presentation. There were freshly baked cookies every day, plus nuts and granola bars for snacks. I was looking for a solo mountain getaway and found Le Beajolais Boutique. The quiet home is only a few minutes' walk from downtown. I was lucky to get the Rundle room, with mountain views from every window. It was sparkling clean and gorgeous, with a beautiful renovated ensuite.

The hosts went above and beyond. I left my ski goggles on the ski bus, and the host retrieved them for us when the timing of the tours and guest services meant we couldn’t have collected them ourselves. We also had an early departure, so they prepared breakfast and food to take with us. Breakfast was included each morning, thoughtful and fantastic, and the coffee, drinks, and snacks were a nice touch after long days of skiing and exploring. Our Norquay room had a comfortable bed, a fireplace for winter, and a view of Mt Norquay. The place is a few blocks from downtown, which was convenient. The hosts are so lovely and made us feel right at home. They also lend guests crampons for winter tours or walks. Thanks for making our stay in Banff so wonderful!

We arrived without plans, followed the owners’ suggestions for hiking, recreation, and restaurants, and had an amazing time. They’re a lovely, kind couple with lots of local knowledge, and the breakfast service was fantastic. Best B&B I’ve ever stayed in. I’ll definitely book again.

The hosts were fantastic, and the breakfast was phenomenal each day. I have food allergies, and they accommodated them far beyond what I expected. It was such a relief not to worry about that. We stayed three nights and loved it more than any hotel experience. The location is hard to beat, and the beautiful rooms have everything you might need, along with lots of little thoughtful touches. Highly recommend.

I was a little unsure about trying a B&B, since I’d only stayed in hotels before, but the reviews convinced me. My wife and I spent a few nights there in February, and the stay was excellent. Alex and Pete were incredibly hospitable, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Our room was terrific, with a fireplace and all the amenities they made available. We especially enjoyed the multi-course breakfasts that Alex and Pete cooked and beautifully presented each day. A fabulous experience that sets a very high bar. The reviews are right, this is a great place.
