The Fox Hotel and Suites

The front of the property is nicely maintained, with a pleasant seating area, and the location is close to everything downtown. Service was excellent, with helpful, friendly receptionists. We loved the cave hot tub and sauna. Our room was spacious and had a small kitchenette, though it felt dated. Bathroom ventilation was limited, and some grout looked black in places. I couldn’t tell whether it was stained or something else.

We had a lovely little vacation and will be back. Our suite upgrade was wonderful, and the clean room had a kitchenette with everything we needed for morning coffee. The sheets smelled great and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the hot pool and sauna, and everyone from the front desk to maintenance was friendly and professional. Dinner at Chili's was nice, with the expected chain restaurant food, and our server was knowledgeable and accommodating. Next time we’ll bring flip flops for the walk between our room and the hot pool, remember a quarter for the pool lockers, and ask the front desk how to turn on the bathroom fan.

We were there to celebrate our anniversary and had a phenomenal stay. Blake checked us in and gave us an upgrade, which we really appreciated. He was patient, kind, professional and helpful. Everything was clean and well cared for, from the lobby and change rooms to the Grotto themed hot tub and our room. The location was great, and Chili’s in the lobby hit the spot for a late-night snack after a long day. We’re looking forward to recommending it to friends and family, and hope to visit again soon.

The room was generally nice, with good linens and a nice touch in the Rocky Mountain Soaps, though some areas needed a deeper clean. We paid $250 a night for a weekend in mid April. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the main town area, and parking is free. The hot tub area was very crowded late in the evening. Adult-only hours from 9 p.m. onward would be nice, since the pool design encourages kids to treat it like a swimming pool. We’d stay again.
