Waking up to the smell of fresh croissants was such a treat. Rhea and Liz were the best hosts I've come across in all my travels, and staying right in the centre of Barkerville made the whole experience even better. I can't say enough about this wonderful place.

The balcony was a great spot to chat with the other guests, and the beds were comfortable. I loved the quaint rooms, and the continental breakfast was easily the most amazing and thoughtfully put together one I've had. Ria and her husband Joe are such wonderful people and really want you to have a great stay. This is the kind of little hotel you see in an old western mining town and wish you could stay in. You can! Make sure to cross over to the saloon for a good time. If you play piano, get them singing along to a few songs. Highly recommend!

After a big day exploring Barkerville, staying right on site made the trip for us. The owner is so kind and sweet, and the breakfast was the best I've ever had. Beautiful rooms and awesome bathrooms too. Such a gem, and a must-do on your next trip here.

There's a lovely patio upstairs where you can take in the view of Barkerville, and coffee and tea were available throughout our stay. Breakfast had a nice range of things, including yogurt, oatmeal, meats and cheeses, breads, tomatoes, and more. Innkeepers Ria and Joe were amazing hosts. They shared lots of information and had engaging conversations with us without being overbearing. We stayed at the start of spring and would be excited to come back. The atmosphere and decor really transport you back in time. If you're interested in historical scenery and the gold rush, book ahead to enjoy this gem!

The charming, clean hotel made our trip, and Ria was an amazing host. Staying right in the town was such a great experience. I don't think there's a better way to see Barkerville.
