Comfort Hotel & Suites

We stayed three nights in Peterborough and would come back. The staff were easy to talk to and really friendly, and the place was clean with pretty good amenities. Our spacious room had a microwave, fridge, coffee maker, and HD TV. With the HDMI ports, I could hook up my Google TV and laptop and watch my own stuff. Breakfast was perfectly fine, with eggs, sausage, cereal, pancakes, muffins, coffee, and juice. The pool and hot tub are downstairs in the basement and both were enjoyable. I had them to myself on a quiet Sunday night. The deep end is about 5.5-6 feet, deeper than some hotel pools.

The breakfast is great, and the staff serving it are excellent and quick. The hotel is centrally located in Peterborough, close to everything, and the rooms have plenty of space. They could use updating, though, and the TV picture was awful, like 1980s analog.

We'd stay here again, and I’d give it 4.5 stars. The attached Kelsey's is convenient, and the location works well. The front desk was friendly and helpful, check-in was quick, and the hotel was clean inside and out. We liked having cold lemon water and coffee available around the clock. Breakfast was better than expected, with scrambled eggs, sausage, a pancake machine, cereals, and regularly replenished food in a clean dining area. The pool and hot tub were clean, with plenty of towels, but the hot tub jets only ran strongly for a few minutes before dropping very low. Kids were screaming and the echo was brutal, so we couldn't stay and enjoy the area. That's obviously not the hotel's fault. Our room was clean and had a good amount of supplies. The bed was uncomfortable, probably because the mattress is old, though it wasn't terrible.

We had a great one-night stay with three adult women and plan to return next summer. Staff were friendly at check-in, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was a good size. The pool area was clean, and the hot tub had strong jets and just the right temperature for relaxing. Breakfast was included, well stocked, and constantly replenished. Dinner at the attached restaurant meant we didn't need to drive anywhere. Nice touches included water bowls for pets and being able to get lobby water and ice the night before.
