I stayed over a month with my kids while waiting for a house, and I can’t say enough about how amazing the manager and his Wife are. They’re beautiful people who went above and beyond for me and my children. It’s a budget motel on the outskirts of town, so the rooms are what you’d expect for the great price. But Paul puts a level of care and service into this place that’s beyond compare. There are no undesirable tenants or guests, no partying or crime at all, and everyone works together to make the stay as good as possible. They do so much for us that they don’t have to do, and that’s the honest truth. The Blue Jay is head and shoulders above the other budget motels in town because of the management and staff. That’s all I’ve got to say.

They add extra charges when you arrive, so the price ends up almost the same as a hotel. The room was cold, and the heater wasn’t good at all. The rooms are old, and for hotel-like money you get a poor, cold motel room. Not recommended.

The grounds and room were spotless, the beds really comfortable, the AC cold, and the shower hot with great pressure. I just came back from two nights here with my child. It’s a lovely little place, and the owners are a great family who go above and beyond to make guests comfortable. You can’t really ask for more. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone wanting a decent room at a decent rate.

Jay, I’m trying to reach Paul or Logan. I have rent for you, but we NEED those receipts. When I call the motel, it says the number isn’t in service, and that doesn’t make ANY sense. It’s 100 $ a night, and most people say they’re paying, so we wii pop uks like the times we paid 120 a night to be accounted for please. This is Lexie in the hospital, reaching out to see what’s going on.

I was nervous about travelling alone and staying at a motel, but the welcome here felt very warm and personal. My room was much better than I expected from the review photos on booking.com. The clean white sheets and puffy pillows made me so happy, and it felt hotel-like and comfortable. I had a great night’s stay. Highly recommend.
