We were in town for the Peterborough Folk Festival, and staying at King Bethune House made the trip even better. It has far more character than a hotel, and we could walk to the main parts of the city. My partner and I also really enjoyed the breakfast.

I was unsure at first whether the house might be sold, and worried the service wouldn't be as good as before. But over our two nights, Marlis was kind, enthusiastic, and very helpful. The breakfast was tasty too, and the stay turned out wonderfully.
