Doreen left us peach walnut loaf and the best cookies we've ever had when we arrived. We stayed with our 3 year old and had a clean, private place with everything we needed. You can fish right in front of the property, and there are canoes and life jackets to use. Thanks, Doreen. We can't wait to come back next summer. ❤️

The screened porch was handy for sitting and keeping the stroller, and the ramp made it easy to get up to our cabin. My mother-in-law took the baby for scenic walks while I was at a nearby wedding. I was there with her and my 5 month old daughter because my husband was in the wedding, and it worked much better than a hotel with a baby. Doreen offered a crib, though we'd brought a travel one, and there was plenty of room to set it up alongside the pullout couch. We also loved seeing the alpacas. The little kitchenette had juice, water, and yummy baked goods. Doreen was a great host, and we'd happily stay again.

We rented both suites for two nights and were really pleased. The place was spotless and had everything we needed, and Doreen has clearly thought of all the details. It's very quiet, apart from the occasional goose honk, but still quick and easy to get around town. I'd stay here again if I return to Peterborough.

We first stayed here 10 years ago when we visited Peterborough, so we knew what a good place it was. This time we spent 3 nights at Liftlock B&B, and it was just as clean and quiet as we remembered. Doreen is a lovely host who gives you space but is only a doorbell ring away. She let us meet her alpacas, which was a treat. Being able to drive right up to the door was especially helpful for anyone who can't walk far. Much better than a hotel, and I'd stay here again.

Doreen welcomed us and showed us around. The room was clean and really comfortable, and the quiet cottage feel was lovely. We could use the canoes and swimming pool, and fish from the dock. I'd definitely come back next time I'm in the area.
