The pool was warm and pleasant, and the hot tub was maintained well. It often had more than the posted limit of 10 people, though, and the no-children rule didn’t seem to be applied consistently, which sometimes affected the experience. My son and I had a very enjoyable week at Big White Ski Resort. The location and ski-in/ski-out access were excellent. The room also felt too warm because airflow was limited; air conditioning or better ventilation would help. Housekeeping was scheduled every three days, and we had to follow up to make sure it was done. Rooms are individually owned, so their decor and condition vary. Ours was dated and could use updates. Still, the convenient location and great ski access made for a memorable week on the mountain.

Village Center is right across the street, so getting to everything was easy. We could ski in, then take a short walk to the ski-out trail. The hotel-suite-sized space suited our family of five, with plenty of shelves for groceries and storage and a roomy mini-fridge. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean it was and how quickly staff handled our requests. The furniture and style are a bit dated, but the quality, cleanliness, and service more than made up for the appearance. It was a perfect base for enjoying Big White.

The hot tub was amazing, and the room was clean. The front desk staff were so friendly, and since the resort welcomes pets, our pup could come along. There was even a treat waiting for her in the room. We accidentally left something behind, and the staff thoughtfully called to offer to ship it to us. The nearest ski run is about a five-minute walk away, so it isn’t ski-in/ski-out right at the door. That didn’t bother us, and we still thought the location was great.

Love this place. The new restaurant has cool vibes, and there’s a heated outdoor pool. Doesn’t get much better!

We came for the spartan race, and this was a perfect spot for it, with great prices. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, and there’s a kitchenette. Village amenities are close, and the staff were awesome and very accommodating. We’ll definitely be back!
