La Plage Motel

The views from La Plage Motel were stunning, and the location was fantastic. We slept well on a very comfortable bed, and the room was super clean. The bathroom felt quite small, though, and the bath towels were tiny. I’d suggest offering larger ones. I’d gladly stay again for the comfort, cleanliness, and views.

We had plenty of parking, and you can pull up right in front of your room if you want. The hotel was very clean, pet friendly, and basically right on the beach, with amazing views. Breakfast is available at the restaurant every day from 8 to 10:30. I saw a comment saying there wasn’t any, but there is. It costs extra, though we thought it was well worth it. Our dog could eat while we enjoyed breakfast in the adjoining restaurant overlooking the St Lawrence.

The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was good. Portions were much bigger than I expected, with reasonable prices. I had the homemade clam chowder and mussels and fries. The view while eating was amazing, and I was happy with the experience. I’ll definitely return.

Being able to bring pets into the room deserves a lot of appreciation. The view from the veranda is breathtaking, and you can even see it from bed when the curtains are open. Service was excellent at both the hotel and restaurant. The owner also offered bowls for our pets. We’ll definitely come back, and I’d recommend the place.
