Bayfield Boutique B&B

The package included everything: a place to stay, food, the ceremony, photography, live streaming, music, an officiant, and even a romantic horse and carriage ride around Bayfield. It was beautiful, and the wedding went smoothly. We spent the weekend at Bayfield Boutique Bed and Breakfast for our fairy-tale elopement for two. Mary helped with planning but couldn't attend because of another commitment. John and his assistant Debbie made sure our needs were met and went above and beyond to make the occasion special. The food was excellent, the accommodations were romantic, and the ceremony was better than expected. Thank you, Mary, John and Debbie, for such wonderful hospitality. We highly recommend it. A monarch butterfly and a hummingbird passed through the beautiful pollinator garden as we said our vows. That was one of the many special moments from our wedding here, which was easily the most special night of our lives. The location was cozy and picturesque, and John and Mary took care of all the details while we spent a fantastic weekend walking around Bayfield. Their team ran the wedding so smoothly that we could be present for every moment. The food was excellent, there was never a lull, and we felt at home and looked after. Guests have since told us how much fun they had, and shared some of Mary’s hilarious one-liners. Perfect, and we'd recommend staying with John and Mary or hosting an event with them. Bayfield is gorgeous, a green, relaxing paradise on the shores of Lake Huron. We had such a lovely first visit that we came back a month later. Both rooms were lovely, and Mary and John were warm, wonderful hosts. The tasty breakfasts and baked goods were a treat, especially the breakfast basket waiting at the door when we woke up. We also met some of their friends and shared delicious dinners with them twice. Extra thanks to Deb, their event chef and an all-around wonderful person. You only get this kind of experience at a family-run business. We can't wait to visit again. Thanks for making us feel so welcome.

Breakfast arrived at our door in a picnic basket, fresh and delicious, with coffee or tea, an egg and cheese baguette sandwich, and fruit salad. Our host John even gave us homemade cookies for the road as we checked out. My husband and I stayed one night in mid-August at the Bayfield Boutique B&B, looking for somewhere fairly close to the Pinery so we could visit the park during the day. John was hospitable and personable. We had the Bourbon Suite, with its private bathroom across the hall. Both were clean and beautifully decorated. An excellent stay, highly recommended!
