There’s no phone to reach the main office, and the office and restaurant seemed to be locked most of the time. Our room was clean, but it didn’t have hangers or a hairdryer. We stayed a few days and didn’t get cleaning service, though maybe we needed to ask for it. It’s a basic place to stop. You can request a room at the back, where the highway noise may be less noticeable, and the air conditioning drowns some of it out.

The front desk guy showed no interest in even pretending to be welcoming. The place is run down, with Walmart furniture mixed in with stuff that looks 40 years old. Our room was dirty, the road noise was awful, and the heat didn’t work. The electric heater tripped the breaker, so the outlet failed too. For what you get, the prices are insanely high. An absolute dump.

We arrived at 9:30 after a full day of driving and were made to feel like a huge inconvenience. In room 4, at least it was clean, but the bed was bad and the couch was even worse. The WiFi didn’t work at all, and the coffee shop coffee was barely drinkable. The service and comfort were pretty dire for our one night. Stay here only if you have no other options.

The nearby highway was noisy, though it didn’t keep us awake, and the rate was reasonable. Our host was friendly and polite when we stayed on a Sunday night in July. The room was dated, but spacious enough and clean, with a firm but comfortable bed. We had a TV, fridge, microwave, small table, chairs, and a little sofa. The bathroom looked clean and had the basic amenities. The WiFi was poor.

The room was clean, and that was about the only good part. I got back at 10pm and the guy was already outside the office in his white SUV, idling with music on. At midnight, when I’m writing this, he’s still there playing more or less the same beat. I got a terrible night’s sleep. If you want music all night from someone hanging out in an idling SUV, this place delivers. Given the price and the awful sleep, I wouldn’t recommend it. I’ve stayed in lots of motels and none came close to being this bad.
