Hotel Vallea Bromont, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

The rooms were decent, but the service was absolutely brutal. I was there for work for a week in October 2025. I booked and paid through TD for Expedia three weeks before arriving. After a full day crossing the country, I got there at 9 p.m. and was told there was no booking and my reservation had been cancelled. I showed the Expedia app, where it was confirmed, paid for, and still active, but reception kept insisting I had no reservation. I had to be up early and asked them to sort it out with Expedia or TD and give me a room, given the late hour. They told me I'd have to book and pay again. TD for Expedia contacted the hotel and provided the payment details and amount charged. Only then did the hotel give me a room without charging me twice. It took two hours from when I arrived. I asked reception to have the manager contact me the next day, but nobody ever did, even by February 2026. I won't stay here again or recommend it. The reservation disappearing from their system had nothing to do with me or Expedia/TD.

We ended up at this hotel after snow disrupted our 25th anniversary trip. The building looked gorgeous, our room was amazing, and check-in staff were great. Then things went downhill fast. Although the website said breakfast was free, we were told to pay at the desk. It cost over $40, and the food was just overcooked, dried out eggs and potatoes, turkey bacon, and bread. We managed one piece of toast. The outlets nearby seemed convenient, but neither the property nor the outlets were cleared of snow in good time, and several stores weren't open. We kept walking through inches of snow. Since we were snowed in, it was disappointing that most TV channels were in French, with few English options. There wasn't much else to do: the bar was never open and there was no restaurant. Housekeeping cleaned our room but left no toilet paper, so we had to use tissues. The next night, the heat pumps leaked water all over the floor. I texted the front desk after 11 p.m. and was told someone would check the next day. My husband and I had to move two couches and a table, wipe up the water, put down towels, and turn off the pumps. It was freezing. We checked out early and told the front desk about it, then emailed the manager. They offered no compensation for the cold room or having to clean it up. I'm not looking for a freebie, but I expected a discount after a night without heat in such cold weather. The customer service was terrible, and it was extremely disappointing. I guess we'll never forget our 25th anniversary.

The location worked perfectly for skiing at Bromont or elsewhere in the Eastern Townships. There are also plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance, and parking was free with spaces always available. The hotel was recently renovated, spotless, and had a friendly, small hotel feel. Breakfast was great too. We had a great stay and would definitely return.

We paid $1,800 for two rooms and two nights, including breakfast, over the Christmas holidays. It was a last minute family ski trip, and there wasn't much left in the area, so we had to take the high prices. The stay didn't feel like a boutique hotel at all. The buffet breakfast was worse than ones I've had at budget travel hotels, and the minimal staff provided average, impersonal service. With just one elevator for three floors, there was a lot of waiting around. It felt like paying three times the price for a Hampton Inn.
