We got a really quiet night's sleep here, easily the best motel I've stayed in. The hosts were kind enough to stay up until our group arrived around midnight, which we appreciated. The room was spotless, with a powerful hot shower, satellite TV, a fridge and a microwave. A perfect little place for the night before our rafting trip.

I live about 20 minutes away and haven't stayed here myself, but I've sent plenty of people from out of town, and they always seem happy with their stay. The owners are lovely, hardworking people. I'm glad there's a clean, comfortable place nearby for friends to stay.

This place has gone downhill since the ownership changed about five years ago. We tried calling twice to get a room and got no answer or call back. There were only two cars in the lot at 10 at night, and nobody answered when we knocked at the office. After waiting ten minutes while we tried to find another plan, someone came out and asked what we wanted. We said we needed a room and were stuck, but they just told us they were closed and went back inside. Very rude.

The owners were friendly and gracious, and the place was quiet and well cared for. It was very clean and comfortable too. We only stayed one night, but I'd definitely come back.

The owner was friendly and easy to talk to. For a very good price, I got a single room with the basics, so it was great value. A nice place to stop while travelling to the Ottawa River.
