Hilton Garden Inn Toronto/Burlington

It was our first stay at Hilton Garden Inn, and wow, it’s just as good as its next-door neighbour, Homewood Suites by Hilton. This family friendly hotel is one I’d highly recommend. Everyone, including the people working behind the scenes whom I haven’t mentioned, helped make our visit comfortable and enjoyable. The friendly staff and the positive attitude across the team make it clear the hotel has good leadership. The General Manager was approachable and courteous, answered our questions, and reassured us. MaryAnn, the housekeeping supervisor, was friendly, funny, hardworking, and diligent. She wanted to make sure guests’ needs were met, and no task seemed too difficult for her. Arvinder, the Director of Sales & Marketing, was a friendly, approachable lady with a great smile. I’d only just met her, but she was willing to use her discretion to adjust things a bit so our stay would be more affordable and enjoyable. Melanie checked us in and provided consistently helpful service throughout our stay. Her welcoming, contagious smile, flexibility, and ability to multitask helped us feel at ease. Shweta at the front desk was friendly and approachable too. Tony, whom I first met at Homewood Suites in 2023, was just as welcoming and cheerful when I saw him again here. Jose, the executive chef, helped successfully prepare my child’s 13 years birthday in 2023, and he remains a wonderful person who does a lot to make guests’ stays memorable. At breakfast, Anai was kind and wonderful, helping with a smile all morning and going the extra mile to make the meal memorable. Ero was polite and kind, serving with a smile and showing understanding. She focused on making guests happy, offering available menu and buffet options and using discretion when needed. Ehab, the canteen/food service manager, was someone I first met at Homewood Suites in 2023. In 2026, we met again at both Homewood Suites and this hotel. He was just as friendly and funny as ever, with welcoming, receptive, diligent, and generous service. You won’t be bored around Ehab and his jokes!

I use this hotel for business regularly, including week-long conference room bookings several times a year. It’s close to lots of amenities and has quick highway access, so it works well for both business and leisure. The staff are professional, friendly, attentive to details, and do their best to anticipate what guests need. They go above and beyond. Special thanks to Ehab and his team, Melanie, the front desk staff, and everyone behind the scenes who helps make our stays incredible. I highly recommend it.

We chose this hotel for its pool and hot tub, hoping to enjoy them on a cold day for our anniversary, but the pool was closed. No one mentioned it at the front desk when we checked in, and we only found out after walking down in our bathing suits. Guests who haven’t checked in yet should be told about a pool closure. We wouldn’t have stayed, and we won’t return. It was disappointing and annoying. They could at least have offered us a hot tub room. It was a winter weekday, not busy at all, with only two vehicles in the whole parking lot. The hotel also looks old and outdated, like a lower-end property Hilton bought and simply put its name on.

Ero made a real difference during my stay. He was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful, with a positive attitude and genuine care that made me feel valued. She went above and beyond with the service, and staff like Ero are why guests come back. The Hilton Garden Inn is well maintained, and the attention to detail shows from the lobby through the rooms.
