Hôtel-Musée Premières Nations

The peaceful walking trails and nearby community gave us a break from the bustle of the larger City, while the sights were still easy to reach. This unconventional hotel has artistic touches that keep it from feeling corporate, and the experience beats what you'd get at a chain. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with great pillows and a mattress that helped us sleep through the night. Soundproofing kept noise from other guests out. Parking was free and plentiful, with EV charging stations; it cost $11.50 for the whole stay. Highly recommend.

The breakfast buffet was the letdown. The food was bland, and the restaurant service was poor. The waiter brought regular coffee without offering a cafe latte or cappuccino, even though the next table was offered cappuccino. We were also told to pay at the restaurant, although we'd asked reception to add breakfast to the room. That was eventually sorted out. We stayed three nights, and the room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. The room was well maintained, with daily service and fresh towels and water. We had a really good stay overall and would come again.

A quiet area made this feel like a cozy, comfortable getaway. The room had lots of space for activities and a good-sized modern TV, and the lobby was beautiful. The restaurant serves interesting cuisine, though it won't suit everyone. Parking is limited. The internet badly needs an upgrade; the speeds feel like 1999.

After two nights in Old Quebec, the change of scenery at this stunning property was lovely. Our room had beautiful furnishings and lots of space, and both the bed and pillows were comfortable. With the patio door open, I could hear the river as I fell asleep, and I had one of my best nights' sleep. The property is laid out nicely, with a view from every room. I'll definitely stay again.
