Bolton Inn

I probably should have booked The Bolton Inn instead. This place may get mistaken for it, but there was nothing here I could recommend. I only stayed because it was close to where I needed to be for work the next morning. I'm going to Mississauga tomorrow instead. The back entrance door was unlocked, and the hallway smelled strongly of marijuana. My sheets weren't clean, and the bedspreads had cigarette burns. The window was cracked, and there were patched spots on the walls that hadn't been painted. The TV was unplugged on the dresser, and I found its screen smashed. There wasn't a phone, radio, clock, or USB charging point, and the unplugged microwave wouldn't open. The toilet kept running because its float wouldn't rise on its own. I had to stop it myself.

My husband and I stayed over the Easter long weekend, and we were covered in bed bug bites. The rooms and walls were disgusting, and they don't clean properly or change the sheets. There weren't any towels, soap, or toilet paper in room 106. So dirty. I'll never set foot there again. This motel should be shut down and cleaned properly by professionals.

After a huge rainstorm at Albion Hills campground, my wife, daughter, and I needed a room at 9:30 pm. Everywhere was booked, so I called Karan and explained what had happened. He was friendly and said he could fit us in if we got there right away. He charged $105, a bit high, but I needed somewhere to sleep, and I tipped him $10. Room 212 was supposed to be a double, but it was awful: sticky floor, holes in the walls, dirty sheets, and a rank smell. I texted Karan that it was only a single, and even though it was after hours, he came right over. He moved us to room 202. I expected the worst, but it was tidy, the floor was clean, and the sheets were acceptable. We got a decent night's sleep. The AC didn't work, so it was a little hot, but still better than a wet tent. The rooms could use more regular cleaning, but Karan was polite and accommodating, not rude. Thank you.

The room was filthy, there were bed bugs everywhere, and the TV didn't work at all. My fiancé and I needed a place quickly and chose the Bolton inn. Big mistake. We couldn't sleep in that bed. At 11:00 we went to ask for our money back, with plenty of evidence. The employee only offered a partial refund, and he didn't show up until 11:30. When I asked to speak with his boss, a manager, or anyone in charge, he flatly refused to let us talk to someone above him. Don't stay here. 10 out of 10, I do not recommend it.
