Park Inn by Radisson, Calgary Airport North, AB

This is about the airport pickup arranged with Associated Taxi, not the hotel itself. Park Inn’s Booking.com information says to use Associated’s white taxis with a blue label and says the hotel will provide a voucher on arrival. We followed those instructions and went to an Associated cab at the stand. The Associated driver immediately and aggressively told us to take the first cab in line, from another company, and said the hotel “doesn’t care.” That contradicted the written instructions, so we hesitated and tried to double-check. He got more hostile, raised his voice, yelled at the other driver, who’d done nothing wrong, and accused him of refusing us because the ride was “too short.” Then he angrily told us to call the hotel, repeating that they didn’t care and making a very uncomfortable scene. We called the hotel and were clearly told it was fine to take a Checkers taxi. We did, and that driver was kind, professional, and awesome. The rest of the trip was stress-free. The Associated driver’s behavior was intimidating, unprofessional, and completely inappropriate for travelers just trying to follow directions. The hotel itself was perfectly fine. Our room was clean, the stay comfortable, and the person at reception was awesome, accommodating, and helpful. Still, Park Inn should reconsider its association with this taxi service. A basic pickup shouldn’t turn into a stressful confrontation, and this left a poor first impression. January 17, 2026, 12:20pm, Cab no. 1149

Our suite was nicer than I expected, with a kitchenette, living room, and comfortable king size bed. There was a decent little fitness centre, and breakfast was included. They even had non-dairy milk for my cereal and coffee!

The rooms were quiet, new, and clean, with a great bed and lots of kitchen gear, including a stovetop, plates, and cutlery. Breakfast was free too. The hotel is very convenient, less than a 10-minute drive from the airport, and the complimentary airport transport both ways was really handy. Staff were professional and so nice. 10/10, thanks for a great stay!

We arrived in Calgary close to midnight, and the hotel arranged free taxi pickup from the airport and a ride back. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night, but the room was clean and spacious, with a fully equipped kitchenette and big fridge. We missed breakfast, but staff let us take coffee, water, and a muffin while they cleaned up after closing. Having the kitchenette meant we could comfortably eat breakfast in our room. We’ll come back when visiting Calgary.
