The hotel was clean and welcoming, with friendly, helpful staff throughout. Our room was spacious and spotless, had a lovely view, and the beds were so comfortable, which really helped during a stressful finals week. The lobby felt bright, safe, and inviting. Housekeeping was great, parking right out front was plentiful, and the gym was clean and open 24/7, with towels and a water refill station. We especially appreciated that the air conditioning worked during the sudden mid-April heat wave, when many other buildings hadn’t turned theirs on yet. The bathroom amenities were good quality, and staff gave us toothbrushes and toothpaste when we asked. Breakfast wasn’t fancy, but it had what we needed: rotating hot items like eggs, sausage or bacon, beans, and potatoes, plus pancakes, pastries, breads for toasting, yogurt, fresh fruit, milk and chocolate milk, juices, oatmeal, and more. Coffee and hot water were available around the clock, just right for late-night studying. We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Kitchener last week and loved it. We’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting.

The breakfast was a highlight, with plenty of hot and cold choices, a self-serve waffle station, and especially good pastries. The modern rooms still felt cozy, the beds were top quality, and everything was extremely clean. Staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We arrived on a red-eye flight and they let us check in early, which we hadn’t expected but really appreciated. The Holiday Inn is also very central for local activities. We’re happy with our stay and look forward to returning in a couple of days after our trip to Niagra Falls.

John from the breakfast team was working incredibly hard. I wish there were more people like him. Breakfast was excellent, and both the room and the hotel were very clean. The reception staff were smiling and friendly too. An awesome place to stay.

Dan at the front desk was a delight, always friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was fresh with great staff looking after it. The gym was very clean and had decent equipment. Our room was spotless, with a spacious, updated bathroom, and the extra blanket and pillow we asked for arrived within minutes. Great location too. We were surprised by how much we enjoyed the stay and would absolutely return when visiting Kitchener.

Our Ringette team came from Nova Scotia, and we picked this hotel for its location, amenities, and reviews. It lived up to our expectations. A special thanks to John, “the breakfast guy,” who came in early twice to open the breakfast room for the athletes before their morning games.
