Marco Polo Inn

We spent two nights in a chuckwagon and had everything we needed, including a nice washroom and a great shower. The campsite is a special place, very large, and has lots of amenities, especially for families with kids. The chuckwagon does move a little when you walk around or when it's very windy, so keep that in mind. It's close to Green Gables Heritage Place and the Cavendish cliffs. Service was great, and the email communication was prompt and welcoming.

We liked our first visit in July 2024 so much that we booked this year's stay before leaving the campground. We came with family and friends and managed to get sites next to or across from each other. From outside it looks huge, but inside it's laid out neatly and feels well organized. There's lots for kids to do during the day and early evening, including one of the coolest splash pads I've seen. Staff were awesome, bathrooms were cleaned regularly, and the grounds were well maintained. Even though it's close to Cavendish's main road, there isn't much traffic or other noise beyond nature. It's hard to find a negative, and we'll keep coming back.

The yurt made camping feel different in the best way. It was clean and comfortable, and our family had a fun, memorable stay. The kids especially loved the splash pad, and there was plenty to do on-site. Marco Polo Campground is clean and organized, with really friendly, helpful staff. It's near Cavendish beaches, attractions, and local shops, while still feeling peaceful. This is one of our favorite summer spots in PEI. We leave with great memories every time and can't wait to return next year. Great for a family camping getaway!

We visited October 8-11, near the end of the season, and were glad the park was still open. We enjoyed it, though I can't say what it's like in high season. It's clearly set up for families, with generous lots and a sewer connection flush with the ground, which made things easy. Best setup! The laundry area was spacious with lots of folding room, and the prices were good at $3 per wash and $3 per dry. Some of the machines were run down and needed servicing. The front desk staff were friendly, and they said the sunsets were great. They were right!
