Right Off 'Da Boat B&B

Moving from Alberta to Newfoundland, this was probably the best stay of the whole trip. The owners were really nice, the beds were great, and the food was good. Best of all, they let dogs stay, unlike the motel in town. If you’re taking the ferry, call ahead and book a room here. Thanks!

After the ferry, we stayed at this lovely B&B with our two dogs. The hosts were so friendly and made a warm, welcoming place for my sister and me. We had everything we needed. Highly recommend it!

We ended up stuck in Port Aux basques for three nights and were lucky to find this place at the last minute. The owners did everything to make us feel at home. Our room had its own bathroom, and there was plenty of outdoor space for our dog to run around. Thanks so much for letting us stay. We’d absolutely recommend it and would return if we needed a place here again 😊❤️🥰

A handy place to wait for the morning ferry, only five minutes away. The bathroom was spacious, the place very clean, and there was a small kitchen. Breakfast was okay, with fishcakes, eggs, bacon, and toast. They didn’t offer seconds, though maybe we should have asked. The bedroom had no window, and the fan was connected to the main light switch. We took out the bulb so we could leave the ceiling fan running for some air. Don’t expect a nice view, either. It felt like part of a parking lot.
