We could easily have stayed longer than three nights. Getting to the Anne of Green Gables attractions and the lobster supper spots was simple, and downtown was close enough to walk to, with more food and entertainment than we had time for. Our room was spacious and pretty, with a built-in kitchenette, and evenings were quiet. The only drawback was having to use the stairs to reach the third floor since there’s no elevator. Great place, great location.

The yellow room upstairs was on the small side, but cozy and perfectly workable for us. The bed was reasonably comfortable, and anything we needed was in the room or available by asking. Staff were quick to help, and the lounges and sitting areas gave us plenty of extra space. They explained which parts of the building we could use when we arrived, and we also enjoyed the tasty complimentary breakfast. The Harbour House is close to lots of attractions and things to do. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it.

We were welcomed warmly as soon as we got to The Harbour House, and the clean, roomy guest room was even better than we expected. Breakfast had a good range of delicious options. The waterfront in Charlottetown is just a short walk away, so the location worked really well. We had a fantastic visit and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming place to stay on PEI.

This is a lovely older hotel within an easy walk of downtown. The rooms are small but comfortable, though noise carries between them. Breakfast comes with the stay, but we found it disappointing. Staff also weren't very friendly or helpful.

The breakfast itself was okay, and the people serving it were pleasant. We also got help when the TV wouldn't turn on. Beyond those moments, though, hospitality felt uneven. When we asked for extra towels, we were questioned about why we needed them and told towels are usually just exchanged before they eventually gave us a couple of bath towels. The shower still showed traces of the previous guest and didn't look clean. At night, noise from upstairs and next door kept bothering us, including footsteps, a hair dryer around 11 p.m., and even snoring. The Harbour House is dingy and badly in need of updating, and we can't understand its overall rating. The hotel's email asking us to review it so it could become Charlottetown's number one hotel was laughable.
