The warm pool was a nice feature, and the location was prime, just a short drive from shopping, restaurants, and events. Parking seemed limited, and the entrance allowed traffic in only one direction. Inside, the staff were some of the friendliest we've met, and breakfast was good quality and opened on time. The room was very clean and organized with complimentary items, though the floor felt a little dirty underfoot.

I was here for a few nights with a tour group. The building is on the older side, but everything was really clean, including my room and bathroom, and the sheets were fine. My only complaint is the air conditioner: it worked well but was extremely loud, enough that I took off a star.

Rodd treated us very well, with clean rooms, good food, and great service. The staff were friendly, and the hotel restaurant was amazing. I also really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The location is super, just minutes from downtown and big box stores, with restaurants within walking distance. Thanks, Rodd, for a great stay. We'll be back.

I felt completely scammed by Rodd Royalty and would never go back. It cost more than $350 a night, which felt like a rip-off for what we got, and the visit completely ruined our time in Charlottetown. The suite turned out to be a large room split by a partition, with a very small bathroom and an extremely worn sofa bed. The advertised pictures seemed modified and had little similarity to the property. The place was very old, dark, and dismal. Carpet gave off a constant musty smell, the curtains were extremely dirty, and the common areas had poor, unflattering lighting. The front desk behavior was very bad, and checkout was at 11 a.m., while most hotels allow until noon. The air conditioner was so loud it was very hard to sleep. The carpet smell was bad enough that I was afraid to eat inside. We skipped the complimentary breakfast because the property seemed unhygienic, and I wouldn't let my kids use the pool because I was apprehensive about how it was maintained. The game room had only one foosball table and one board game. I wish I could get my money back for the false advertising. It was worse than a motel.
