The owner really made the stay stand out, being friendly, attentive, and going out of their way to help us with dinner reservations. Breakfast had a huge selection of fresh, delicious options. Parking was available, and the convenient location made things easy to access. I recently stayed at Overlander Motel and had a really good experience. For the price, the value was excellent. I booked a room here for an anniversary in town. Our plans kept changing, and the woman at the desk was very kind and accommodating. After a very long trek with detours and construction delays, I’d been awake for an insane number of hours. They were waiting for me when I arrived very late to check in. I passed out as soon as I got to my room and slept past checkout, but they politely knocked to let me know it was time. The staff were so sweet about it. The room was small and a bit outdated, but very clean, quiet, and comfortable, with everything you need. I travel between Calgary and Williams Lake to visit family now and then, and I’ll definitely stay here again.
