The inn put us in a great spot for exploring Nova Scotia. The town itself is small and charming, with shops and restaurants just down the street, and it was easy to get to Halifax, Lunenberg, and coastal hiking spots. Suzi greeted us, showed us around, and suggested places for dinner and things to see nearby. We also loved the rooms and shared spaces, especially that porch. Breakfast lived up to the praise, too.

Suzi made us feel right at home, and the cooked breakfast was divine: fresh French toast with sausage and fruit. The inn has a lovely atmosphere, with charming Victorian decor, beautiful linens, and everything exceptionally clean. We'd happily recommend it.

Suzi, who trained at Cordon Bleu, runs this charming inn. Her French toast with raspberry compote and whipped cream is reason enough to make the trip. Go stay here!

The spacious, lovely rooms were a real treat. Suzi adds thoughtful touches, from chocolates and earplugs in the room to fresh cookies in the downstairs living room. And she really can cook, breakfast was delicious. We had a great stay, thanks!

Being downtown made it easy to walk to local pubs and breweries, and breakfast was delicious. My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay. Suzi was so welcoming that we felt at home, and the room was cozy, bright, clean, and beautifully arranged. The bed was very comfortable, and it was clear she'd thought of every detail to make the stay relaxing. We also got to meet Panda, the sweetest, cutest kitty. It was a privilege to stay here, and we'll definitely be back 😊.
