The beds were adequate, though a little rickety, and were perhaps the only downside. We were in Churchill for the Northern lights tour, and the darkened curtains helped us sleep later in the morning after staying up late the night before. They’d also be useful in summer, when the sun doesn’t set. The Aurora inn is close to local shops and the restaurants that were open during our visit. Churchill isn’t a huge place, so we found the location convenient. Staff were friendly, and both the hotel and our rooms were clean and ready for us when we arrived. Our room had a lofted bedroom and an open bathroom above the main living area, which had comfortable couches, a television, and a kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, stove, and sink.
