Estérel Resort

We had an amazing experience at Estérel Resort for our corporate Christmas party, five employees with their spouses. The booking and coordination were seamless, and the service was wonderful throughout. The resort itself was beautiful, spotless, and very well maintained, and our suites were spacious and comfortable. The restaurants were outstanding. We enjoyed the five-course discovery menu with wine pairing, and both the food and wine were exceptional. The outdoor spa was incredible and so relaxing. We’d gladly return and recommend Estérel Resort.

This was my fourth visit to Estérel, and I’m so disappointed. I booked a family suite and paid extra for a lake view, but room 1110 looked straight at an 8'X8' ROCK. There was no lake to see, just a giant rock. When I raised it with the service staff, they were very polite but said that’s nature. They offered a smaller room in another section, which wouldn’t work for us with three kids. I’m writing this so people know not to pay extra here for a view. I’d also booked a room for my parents, and it smelled strongly of gas the whole time. The hotel checked and said it wasn’t gas, but the smell was strong enough to worry me. The restaurants were good, and I had fun at the spa, though its facilities were so-so: there was trash in the snow around the hot tubs, and the hot water dispenser was empty. The skating rink was in great shape.

A beautiful resort with service to match. Everyone was super kind and accommodating. We had trouble getting there, and Melanie really helped us out. Can’t wait to go back.

We loved our stay last weekend. The suite was beautiful and very clean, and everyone on staff was friendly and welcoming. It feels relaxing, but there’s still lots to do. The outdoor spa has six hot tubs and a heated pool. One of the coolest parts was jumping straight into the lake, then warming up in the sauna. We even did it at -28 with the wind, what an experience! You can also ski, skate, and play rackets. We brought our own skates and rackets, so didn’t pay extra for those activities. Skating on the lake felt magical, and doing racket on the lake trail was such a vibe. There are indoor saunas and a gym too, and the restaurants were delicious. One small letdown: at -28 with strong wind, the outdoor spas weren’t as warm as we expected. But that’s pretty extreme weather. We’d absolutely go back, such a fun and memorable winter getaway!
