The spacious Purcell suite made our time exploring Nelson and relaxing between adventures feel really special. The host was welcoming, and there were lots of thoughtful personal touches. Communication and management were excellent.

Mistiso's Place has a really unique, comfortable feel, and Maria's place is within easy walking distance of the little shops and restaurants. I loved being able to grind my own fresh coffee. We had a wonderful time in beautiful Nelson BC and would definitely consider staying here again.

We had a great time in the Purcell suite this October. It’s a darling place in an amazing location, and the beds were very comfortable. I left behind a cherished bracelet, and Maria went ABOVE and BEYOND getting it back to me in the US, working through Canadian postal strikes and newly imposed US tariffs. She’s an excellent host, and the accommodation was excellent too. We’ll return. Highly recommended. ~Cheri

We had our two dogs with us, and the location was perfect for walks, with Gyro Park about five minutes away and a dog park nearby. Baker St. was less than a five-minute walk. Maria was a very good host, communicated well, shared lots of options for exploring Nelson, and let us know she was available if we needed anything.

Downtown and the pier were both easy to reach on foot, and the house was easy to access. My daughter and I stayed in the Silverking suite. The bed was really comfortable, the AC cooled the place nicely, and the kitchen had what we needed. We appreciated the local coffee beans. Maria was fantastic about sharing events and places to go, and it was a bonus to meet her. She’s awesome. There are lots of great restaurants and patios, the locals are sweet, and Nelson is a special place to visit.
