I stayed in January 2026, and the oceanfront King Suite at Duffin Cove was spotless and seemed completely new. The bed was soft but supportive, just right after a long drive and a day of surfing. Staff made me feel valued, from the clear booking information to the quick, easy check-in. The views were outstanding, with stars at night and seals swimming by in the morning. Everything in town is a pleasant, short walk away. I had a perfect stay and will come back.

The private balcony was exactly what we wanted for a quiet break from everyday life. We stayed in a King studio for a quick weekend at the beginning of May, and the view was amazing. With the patio door open, we fell asleep to the sound of the waves. Staff handled our requests quickly, and even though reception isn’t open around the clock, they responded promptly to texts. We’d happily choose Duffin Cove again if we return to Tofino.

The towels and linens felt lovely and luxurious, and the room itself was gorgeous. Everything was new and clean, with five-star service and attention to detail. I even appreciated that the sliding glass door could be opened and locked in any position. We’ll definitely come back!

We had two modern rooms, one for the seniors and one for the 20-year-olds, both with large patio doors looking out over the ocean. The staff were welcoming, polite and helpful, lending us beach towels for surfing and cutlery for our picnic. Duffin Cove is walkable to downtown restaurants, the grocery store and the liquor store. We loved our stay and highly recommend it.

We got a gorgeous sunset from the balcony during our wonderful time in Tofino. Duffin Cove Hotel was what we’d hoped for: a quiet, cozy place in a great location, with excellent views. The staff were wonderful too. We’d stay again.
