The breakfast was great, and we had a fun chat with the guest staying in the other room. The house has a nice theme, with much of it given over to the lobby area. The husband-and-wife hosts mostly stay downstairs, though the wife is sociable. The view over the delta of north Vancouver Island from the dining table is indescribably beautiful. It’s a good feel for what a bed and breakfast is like: less privacy than a motel, but lots of really great things.

We had such a lovely time at the Dolphin B&B, from the comfy room and delicious breakfast to the great view and easy conversation with Ann & Frank. We only wish we’d planned to stay longer. Thanks, Ann & Frank. We’re already looking forward to coming back soon.

They can put breakfast out very early, which is a real help if you’re kayaking. There’s beach access for launching and a spot in the garden to store kayaks, too. Getting up and down is quite steep, though, and carrying a kayak can be hard. Good place.

The owners are such friendly, welcoming people, and we’d happily come back. It’s a quiet, private escape with amazing views. We walked down to the beach from the backyard and had a lovely campfire there.

We really enjoyed the campfire on the beach. It’s a neat place with plenty of privacy, and a nice spot to get away from everything. The owners were very accommodating and shared some great stories about the area.
