Super 8 Charlottetown PE

We had a wonderful night. Staff and check-in were pleasant and efficient, and our room was spacious, very clean, and had comfortable beds. It was in a quiet spot about five minutes outside Charlottetown, but still close to the highway. Breakfast was included and delicious. The only downside was that there weren’t towels at the pool, so we had to go back to our room and use the room towels.

We were there for four nights, Sept 4-8, and it was one of the friendliest, nicest places we’ve stayed. Dorian hit while we were there and the power was out for almost two days, through no fault of the hotel. The staff did their best to keep us comfortable and secure. When we could, we had breakfast twice, and it was better than most continental breakfasts. The rooms were clean and very well kept. The manager and everyone we met were kinder and more helpful than anyone we’ve encountered before. For the price, it’s an awesome place, very close to downtown Charlottetown. I’d recommend it to anyone and have already told all our friends how good it is. One extra thing I appreciated: for those of us who still smoke, there’s a section at the back away from everyone, with chairs and a big ashtray. That may not appeal to everyone, but I liked it.

The breakfast area was clean and well stocked even with a big crowd of kids in town for a hockey tournament. The attendant was friendly, and I got a warm welcome when I arrived along with all the information I needed. Staff knew the area well and were happy to suggest their favourite places to eat that night. I was impressed and delighted, and would absolutely stay again.

The kids enjoyed staying here, and the pool was super clean. Our room was tidy, and the staff were friendly. It was nice to have the extras in the room, including a mini fridge, TV, phone, coffee, and blow dryer. I also appreciated the little breakfast packed for us to take back in the morning: a sandwich, hashbrown, apple, yogurt, and two mini cinnabuns.
