Tracey and Steve were so warm and easy to talk to, and their lovely daughter even came along for our airport rides. The room was spacious and clean, with plenty of windows and spots to sit and unwind. We slept comfortably, and the welcoming common rooms and shared bathroom were both clean and the bathroom had the basics stocked. We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to come back. I’d give it 4.5 if I could, but went with four since there’s always room to improve.

A relaxed, laid-back place in a handy spot, close to amenities, with reasonable rates. The owners are lovely and welcoming, and privacy wasn’t a concern. The grounds are very clean and well maintained, and breakfast each morning was excellent. There are four rooms, some with en-suite bathrooms and twin beds. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an easygoing stay.

The owners are very nice, and the place itself is lovely. What disappointed me was the breakfast change. They used to serve a full cooked meal in their home, with excellent food and good conversation. Now it’s an all-you-can-eat continental breakfast at the hotel next door. If I hadn’t experienced the old setup, I’d rate it five stars. I might update this review later, but for now I’m leaving it as is so people know what to expect.

It’s easy to walk into town, even though the place sits out near the edge. The rooms are grouped together more like a hotel than I’d expected, and I was woken when guests arrived late for one of them. The Wi-Fi wasn’t great, though that seems common in the Yukon. We didn’t have much contact with the owners, since they run a local hotel nearby.

We had a lovely time in Dawson City. Tracey and Steve were great hosts, with comfortable accommodation, a very good breakfast, plenty of local information, and nice conversation.
