The building had a smoke alarm go off at 3 a.m., and everyone had to evacuate. Nobody apologized afterward. The rooms are worn, too. At the desk, the receptionist stayed on her phone while I waited for several minutes. When she finally looked up, she just said, “Yes?” No sorry, please, or thank you. It was a terrible stay.

For the price, I’d give it 5/5. The staff are great, and the rooms get cleaned every day. Breakfast was a little skimpy, though. I’m pretty sure the Queen stayed here during her visit to Dawson Creek.

The rug in my room was badly stained, and there was no AC during my three-night stay, just a fan. Breakfast started out good on the first morning, but by day two half the food was gone, and on the third morning all that was left was scrambled eggs. I’ve stayed here many times over the past 10 years, but I’ll find somewhere else next time.

They took us in at the last minute, and the room suited our needs perfectly. Pets are welcome, too!

Breakfast was hot and started at 4 a.m., which worked perfectly for our early departure. The room was clean, the AC worked well, and the service was friendly. There’s an onsite laundry room and an A&W next door. Pet friendly, too. No complaints.
