The room was clean and the bed was good, so we were happy with this stay, one of our better ones over three weeks in the USA and Canada. The location is superb once you’ve crossed the water. The owners were wonderful. The man of the house was immediately helpful with tips, and the woman was helpful as well and served a good breakfast.

We spent almost two weeks here and would definitely stay again. The hosts were friendly and knowledgeable, and worked hard to make us comfortable. Our large suite was clean and nicely furnished. It didn’t come with a hot breakfast, but the continental one was convenient and quite sufficient.

We arrived quite late, and the owner was very kind and accommodating. Our suite with two queen beds was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was spotless. The owner asked what we preferred for breakfast ahead of time, then left a basket in our room. It had white or whole wheat bread with jam, peanut butter, and butter, plus carrot or blueberry muffins, juice boxes, and yogurt. The B&B was very comfortable.

The room was large, clean, and had an ensuite bathroom. The building is well maintained, the heater is extra strong, parking is great, and the whole place is smoke-free. The owner was really nice and had everything ready for our one-night stay. It feels like a typical small-town, family-run hotel, and was good overall. The downside was breakfast: it was prepared in the room rather than served hot.

Harmony B&B is well placed for walking to lots of restaurants in Digby, the scallop capital of the world. We stayed in the old house, though there’s also a small modern motor lodge out back. The owners are originally from South Africa, very friendly, good conversationalists, and knowledgeable about local details. We enjoyed our stay, and the room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was tight and small, but did the job.
