My room was tidy and modern, with fresh linens, a comfortable bed, and a spacious bathroom. The heat worked well despite the cold outside, and the hotel felt peaceful. Gayatri at the front desk made the stay especially easy. They welcomed me warmly, checked me in within minutes, and made sure I had what I needed. Their polite, professional manner set a great tone, and the whole team was kind and quick to respond. The hospitality and cleanliness made for a relaxing break from daily stress. The building is beautiful, and the layout is nice. We also appreciated the water bottle filling station. For the price, our one-night stay was worthwhile, and we enjoyed it overall. There were some frustrations: in the evening, 12 people were lined up at reception, and we couldn’t reach the front desk by phone when we only needed utensils. The room was clean and decent, though it could use some TLC. The lighting, especially in the bathroom, was disappointing.

The room smelled strongly of old cigarette smoke, and our clothes still smell like it. We had to wait nearly half an hour to check in Friday evening, then found no towels, cups, glasses, or bed comforter in the room. It took three calls to guest services to get it replenished. We left a list of missing things for housekeeping, but she brought back only about half. When we asked in the morning, she told us to call the front desk for help. The complimentary breakfast was being cleared and shut down less than five minutes after closing, but they had stopped replenishing the buffet at least half an hour before the posted time. This place seems to aim for mediocrity and is in no danger of reaching it. They can count on me never inconveniencing them with my presence again.

The hotel was quiet and peaceful, and my room was spacious, cozy, and spotless, with comfortable bedding and the amenities I needed. Housekeeping was punctual and did a great job each day. Breakfast had a delicious range of fresh choices, the Wi-Fi worked smoothly, and there was ample parking. The location was close to major areas while still feeling restful. Miss Gayatri Yadav at the front desk made me feel welcome right away. She smiled, checked me in quickly, answered all my questions patiently, and even gave me directions around the city. Her kindness and professionalism made the long journey feel worthwhile. The hotel exceeded my expectations, and I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting Edmonton.
