West Coast Wilderness Lodge

We spent two nights in the resort’s new condos, and the experience was spectacular. The accommodations were first class, the view takes your breath away, and the staff were on their game. You won’t find fine dining like this on Vancouver Island. You will not be disappointed.

My partner and I had a 10/10 stay at the West Coast Wilderness Lodge this past week. We were in one of the new “villas,” and the room was incredible, with an even better view from the top floor. Luke and the staff went above and beyond to make our time there enjoyable. I’d recommend the Adventure Centre too. You can rent one of the newer high end Seadoos and explore the ocean, which is definitely a thrill. If you’re thinking of a Sunshine Coast getaway, don’t sleep on this place!

We spent most of the week sitting out on the deck because we couldn’t get enough of the gorgeous view. The newly opened villas worked perfectly for our family, with clean, spacious rooms, all the necessary items, and breathtaking views. Every staff member we met was friendly and accommodating. Lucas the manager was super responsive and helpful in making sure we could book the room we wanted, and the front desk and restaurant staff were amazing. We’d absolutely love to return. Thank you!

We loved the accommodation. It was clean and smelled fresh, and we really appreciated that it was pet-friendly. The restaurant food was good, but it was confusing and frustrating that the patio doesn’t allow pets. Almost every patio in downtown Vancouver allows dogs, and this accommodation does too, so I couldn’t understand why the restaurant patio didn’t. What are people with dogs meant to do? I wasn’t comfortable leaving my dog alone somewhere new, so she had to wait in the car while we ate.
