If you're visiting Base Borden, this motel is really well placed. There are plenty of restaurants you can walk to, and the rates were very reasonable. The room was clean, though a bit dated. For the price, it was a good choice.

The kitchen in the room was a real plus, and the motel is very close to the base. I’ve spent over 20 years staying in hotels and motels as a military spouse, and this was one of the cleanest I can remember. Traveling alone as a woman, I felt comfortable here. I’d book again when I return.

For the price, the room was what you'd expect, and having a mini kitchen was great. The staff really go out of their way to look after guests.

Waking up to cigarette smoke early in the morning is awful. Other guests smoking right outside their rooms meant it came into ours through the air conditioner. As non-smokers, we’d really recommend having a smoking area farther from the rooms.

The room itself was nice, but we won’t be coming back. My boyfriend and I were being intimate when the man from the office unlocked the door and walked in without knocking or saying anything. I’ve never had that happen before. Check-out is at 11:00, so why was he coming into our room an hour earlier? Seriously, this was crazy.
