The town is friendly, and there’s a good restaurant and grocery store nearby. We’ve stayed here twice to ride the sled trails, which are right outside, and parking is easy. It’s nice and clean, and the hot tub is great.

We had very good local pizza delivered, and this is an excellent place to set out snowmobiling from.

The room was so small there was barely space for a bed, let alone the bedbugs. I booked 3 nights but left after one, and the owner wouldn’t reimburse me for the other two. The attic rooms felt like a fire trap, with the windows sealed shut. Never again.

The location is lovely, but the accommodation was horrible. There was nowhere inside the hotel that escaped the paint fumes, and with so little ventilation we couldn’t sleep at all. The toilet was full of bugs, and the seat was positioned so awkwardly that one knee hit the shower.

The area is really calm, and the rooms are spacious and very clean. I had the best time in the outdoor hot tub and am looking forward to going back soon.
