Coast Fort was affordable, updated, and smelled like a home cooked meal. They even had doggy bags, and the gentleman helped me park my U-Haul and trailer. The man, possibly the manager, and the woman who checked me in were extremely kind. I’d tried two hotels before this, and once they saw my dog, they became impossible to afford, with a $500 deposit.

The rooms are large, with big refrigerators and windows that open, and the place is clean, quiet, and within walking distance of most things. Breakfast is good, with surprise items during the week. The staff are amazing, super accommodating, and treat you like you’re at a Hilton. Clean and affordable, 12/10 for management and staff. A hundred percent better than the hotel near brewhouse.

We drove eight hours from Edmonton and got in at 1:30 am on Oct 16th, staying only eight hours in room 231. We were too tired to go downstairs and complain, so we slept on the couch. They offered no refund. We checked for bed bugs and found none, but the bed had huge stains like someone had wet it, there was blood on the towel by the sink, stains everywhere, and hair on the pillow.

There was a strong musty smell all over the property, and the breakfast tasted rancid and was very poor quality. The rooms and common areas were dirty and badly maintained. A terrible experience.

It’s a basic hotel for a good price. Very clean, with an included breakfast and extremely nice, friendly staff. There’s a restaurant across the street.
