We got a late checkout on our departure day, which made a big difference. It was pouring rain and our ferry wasn’t until the afternoon, so we had a comfortable place to wait with a beautiful view. The staff were very nice about arranging it. My wife and I stayed with my parents for a spring weekend at the Galiano Oceanfront Inn. Our one bedroom suite was great, with a full size kitchen, a nice bathroom, and a large living room with a pullout bed. We also enjoyed the patio, barbecue, fireplace, and water view. The one thing that could be better is the lighting around the parking area and entrance. We arrived in the dark and needed a while to work out how to find our unit. Even so, I’d highly recommend it.

I’ve stayed three times, and the views and fireplace are what I love most. Service has been good, though the rooms could use an update. The restaurant used to be excellent, but now it’s hit or miss. Some days are great, while other times the burger is dry. The walls are a little thin, especially with loud guests above or dogs barking next door. I think dogs shouldn’t be left alone, since it seems very stressful for them.

We came for a day trip and wound up staying on the spur of the moment. The location right by the ferry terminal is hard to beat, and we were made to feel so welcome. The room was beautiful, with exceptional views, and the private beach was exquisite. Every request we made was met with a smile. I’m not planning to stay anywhere else when I return to the island. Brian and Mia at the front desk were truly amazing. They gave us a good price for the unexpected stay, both for the room and the smart car we rented from the inn. There are also two great restaurants here and a spa, which I’m looking forward to trying next time.

It’s a peaceful place to stay, from the quiet villa to the little walk through the serene gardens on the way there. The villa was clean and comfortable, with a gorgeous ocean view. The staff were friendly, quick to respond, and really accommodating. This is my favorite place whenever I visit Galiano, really the only place I stay. I plan my trips around the hotel’s availability. I usually bring my car, but you don’t need one here. The location is convenient, and they rent smart cars. There are public beach access points within walking distance, and even more if you bike.
